Spirituality
In addition to the Sacraments we are supported in our prayer and spiritual journeys
and further deepen our faith.
As a learning community we are always looking for new opportunities
for spiritual development and deepening of our life of prayer.

How to Pray
There is not a single way to pray, but there are ways of setting out to pray that are more effective. Essentially they are:
-
time
-
place
-
environment
It is important to set aside time for prayer. A regular time slot is good, but if this is not possible, at least set aside some quality time for prayer, even if this is just a few minutes.

Daily Reflection
Jesuit Media Initiatives produce a daily reflection PODCAST: Pray As You Go

A new prayer session is produced every day. It is not a 'Thought for the Day', a sermon or a bible-study, but rather a framework for your own prayer. Lasting between ten and thirteen minutes, it combines music, scripture and some questions for reflection.

Spiritual Direction
Spiritual formation is an intentional Christian practice that has as its goal the development of spiritual maturity that leads to Christ-likeness. Ancient Christian spiritual practices (prayer, the study of scripture, the sacraments, fasting, simplicity, solitude, adoration, worship, etc.) are practices which help foster spiritual formation.
